iOS 17 and iOS 18 support is experimental. BandLock 1.4 adds A9 support on iOS 16. RootHide has also been real-device tested on iOS 16.3.1; iOS 17/18 and the remaining jailbreak/device combinations depend on community validation.

BandLock Global 1.5 is a standalone Home Screen app. Its Control tab handles modem status, LTE/4G and 5G modes, independent LTE/NR pending selections and explicit apply/restore actions. The Countries tab provides an offline catalogue of 160 countries and territories, while Settings configures the Control Center module and contains version, credits and update information.

Country profiles are never applied automatically. BandLock intersects the selected country's LTE/NR bands with the corresponding bands reported by the iPhone modem, prepares pending selections, and requires explicit confirmation before writing.

BandLock isolates modem operations in a launchd-managed daemon and does not automatically change modem settings at launch or boot. The modem and carrier still decide the final serving band and carrier aggregation among the allowed bands.

BandLock Global 1.5 es una app independiente en la pantalla de inicio. La pestaña Control gestiona el estado del módem, modos LTE/4G y 5G, selecciones pendientes LTE/NR independientes y acciones explícitas de aplicar/restaurar. Países ofrece el catálogo offline y Ajustes permite configurar la visibilidad del módulo del Centro de Control, los modos 5G avanzados y consultar versión, créditos y actualizaciones.

Los perfiles de país nunca se aplican automáticamente. BandLock cruza las bandas LTE/NR del país con las que el módem del iPhone reporta para cada tecnología, prepara las selecciones pendientes y exige confirmación explícita antes de escribir.

BandLock aísla las operaciones del módem en un daemon gestionado por launchd y no cambia automáticamente la configuración del módem al abrir la app o al arrancar. El módem y el operador siguen decidiendo la banda servidora final y la agregación de portadoras entre las bandas permitidas.

Que una banda sea compatible con el iPhone no implica que el operador la despliegue en tu ubicación. Restringir demasiado la selección puede provocar pérdida de servicio.
